Prepare your hair and tape
Use a soft tape that follows the shape of your head. Arrange your own hair as you expect to wear it under the wig, so you are measuring the shape the cap will actually cover. Keep the tape comfortably snug, without pulling tight or compressing your hair.
A mirror or another person can help you check that the tape stays in place. Write each result down with its unit. If you convert between centimetres and inches, keep the original measurement too: one inch equals 2.54 centimetres.
Take three useful measurements
These measurements describe different parts of the fit. A cap can feel different at the crown, nape or around the ears even when its circumference seems suitable.
- Circumference: begin at the centre of your natural front hairline, follow around the head just above the ears and around the nape, then return to the starting point.
- Front to nape: measure from your natural front hairline over the centre of the crown to the nape where the cap will sit.
- Ear to ear over the crown: measure from the top of one ear, across the crown, to the top of the other ear. This is a crown measurement, not a measurement across the forehead.
- Repeat each measurement with the tape in the same position. If the results differ, reposition the tape and measure again before choosing a cap.
Prepare your cap-fit enquiry
Record your measurements and the exact option here. This worksheet does not assign a cap size. Compare the answer with that product’s own specifications.
I am considering [style and colour / option]. My measurements are circumference: __ inches; front to nape: __ inches; ear to ear over the crown: __ inches. I measured with my intended under-wig hairstyle. What cap measurements and adjustment range apply to this exact option? If I want to wear it without adhesive, which fixing features are included and how should I fit it? Does the lace need preparation?
Enter the option and all three positive measurements to copy.Changing the unit clears the measurement fields so old numbers are not relabelled. Entries stay on this page and are not submitted or saved by this worksheet. Contact EVUNIA when you are ready to ask.
Compare with the exact cap option
Use the selected product’s cap measurements and fitting guidance. Size labels such as petite, average, large or Standard can differ between products; they do not replace actual measurements. Check how any verified adjustment range applies to that cap.
Do not use the lace dimensions as a size chart. For example, a listed 13 × 6-inch lace area describes lace coverage and does not mean the cap fits a 13-inch or 6-inch head measurement. Hair length describes the hair, not cap depth or circumference.
If your measurements fall between the published sizes, or the cap measurements are not listed, ask EVUNIA about the selected style and colour before ordering. Send the three measurements with their units. A fitting question is more useful when it identifies the exact option.
Check the fit gently before altering the wig
On arrival, position the cap as directed and check the hairline, ears and nape. Move your head gently and notice whether the cap shifts or creates pressure. Adjust only the features actually present and described for your wig; do not force the lace or pull on the hair to make it fit.
If it feels too tight, loose or uneven, contact us before changing the cap. Keep the lace uncut and the item unwashed and unaltered while deciding whether to keep it. Those conditions matter for voluntary returns; the Refund Policy explains the full terms and statutory rights.
