Buying a Wig With Bangs: Choose the Fringe Before You Cut

If you already know you want bangs, start with a wig whose selected option has the fringe shape you like. If you are still deciding, do not buy a longer style on the assumption that cutting it will produce the same result. Ask for front and side views first. A fringe can need a personal adjustment, but the choice to cut should come after you have checked the item and decided to keep it.

1. Pick the shape, then ask about the front length

Write down the difference that matters to you: a fringe across the forehead, pieces swept to one side, or an open forehead with no bangs. Then check the selected color-and-cut option, rather than the collection’s cover photo. A collection can include several front shapes under one product heading. If hair near your eyes bothers you, say so before ordering instead of relying on a style name.

The Rooted Blonde Bob option in EVUNIA’s Shoulder-Skimming Fringe Synthetic Bob listing is described as a full-fringe, straight and lightly layered synthetic wig with a 14-inch listed length. That number is not a separate bang measurement. Ask how the fringe itself is measured and request the selected option’s front view. Do not infer an exact brow-length fringe from the model photograph.

2. Separate a supplied fringe from a planned haircut

Buying a fringe that is already part of the selected cut gives you a clear starting shape to compare. Adding bangs to a different wig is a separate alteration. Before choosing that route, discuss the actual wig with a stylist who works with its fiber and construction. Ask what can be changed, what cannot be put back, and whether the result you want is realistic for that specific piece.

For the first conversation, a useful request is: “I want this fringe shape, with my eyes clear. Can this exact wig achieve it, and what front length do you recommend checking before any cut?” Take the product information and an ordinary reference photo. Advice for a human-hair fringe is not automatically a suitable styling method for a synthetic wig.

3. Check the item and return terms before trimming

When the parcel arrives, compare the item with your selected option before washing, trimming or changing it. Keep the packaging. If the cut or option appears wrong, photograph what arrived and contact the store; do not cut it into something closer to your order. An incorrect item and a change-of-mind return are different questions.

EVUNIA’s voluntary return policy requires an unused, unwashed and unaltered wig, with lace uncut where applicable, and a request within 14 calendar days after delivery. Cutting a fringe changes the item. If you are unsure you will keep it, ask for guidance before making that change. For the fuller arrival checklist, see what to check if the wrong wig arrives.
